Everyday Mindfulness for Real Life with Anil Manley

Mindfulness is for everyone. Over the course of eight weeks, participants will learn the seven attitudes for mindful living. They will also be guided through several meditations that encourage mental and physical relaxation.

This series is an opportunity for each participant to explore which mindfulness practices work and don't work for them. Meditation experience is not required. Just come with an open heart and mind. In Takoma Park.

Anil's mindfulness journey began during a particularly stressful season in her former position in the corporate arena. It was the stillness of meditation and careful reflection that prompted her to pay attention to the signs her mind and body were sending. This led to a transition into more meaningful work as a certified Reiki practitioner, meditation teacher, and health education specialist. Her approach to meditation is simple and practical. She encourages and empowers participants to design and implement their own self-care practice to achieve their wellness goals.
