Yoga & Meditation: Befriending Your Mind

The Bhagavadgita describes the mind as the greatest means to liberation, and also the greatest hindrance to it.

Although we can tend to think of yoga as a physical practice, its most profound gifts lie in its remarkable tools to help us understand and work with the gift and challenge of having a human mind. In this course, we will learn practical tools and fundamental yogic concepts that help us to settle the mind, quiet the nervous system, and create an inner environment of greater peace and clarity. Each class includes grounding, simple and gentle yoga practice, breathing, and guided meditation. Everybody welcome.
