TEENS: Stretch, Strengthen & De-Stress (13-16 yrs)

Exploring yoga in this safe and supportive environment geared exclusively for teens, teachers use appropriate language and an understanding of teen neurodevelopment to help them navigate a busy and complex world. Teenage students learn techniques for reducing stress and connecting with their bodies in a loving way. Poses emphasize strength, flexibility and balance in bodies that are growing and changing each day. Breathing and relaxation exercises also support an overall sense of well-being, and provide tools that students can use in their daily lives outside of yoga class.
