First off: we love to help you choose a best start! Please email, call, or stop by our studios, and we will happily answer all your questions and help you find a class that best suits you.

Now: in our 24 years of offering students their very first introduction to yoga, we have learned a lot about what makes for a successful beginning.

Best Beginning: Register for a Full Session of an Introductory Class

Over the course of many weeks, our introductory classes help you slowly to build strength, flexibility, and most importantly, great technique.

If you’re new to yoga, lapsed for a couple years, or wanting a more solid foundation in alignment, try Yoga I.

If you’re nursing an injury or dealing with a special health condition, try Gentle/Yoga I, Gentle Yoga, or Yoga for a Healthy Back.

If you’re ready to jump into Pilates I, expect to begin with excellent, precise alignment and slowly build momentum as the session goes along. If you’d like an easier beginning, try Gentle Pilates.

And if you’ve always been interested in Barre, our Barre Basics classes offer a spirited, careful introduction without parallel! Don’t be intimidated, but do expect to work hard.
